🔥 Tight hips? Low back tension that just won’t quit?

Your psoas muscle plays a major role in how your body moves and feels. When it becomes tight, it’s often discussed in movement education as a contributor to:

• Low back discomfort
• Anterior pelvic tilt
• Hip tightness and postural imbalance

Because the psoas connects your spine to your hips, it can influence how your entire body feels day to day.

🎥 Check out the video below from trained professionals to better understand how this muscle is commonly stretched and why it matters for overall movement and posture.
I love sharing tools like this to help you become more aware of your body and how everything is connected đź’«

⚠️ Low back pain?

Do you experience:
• Glute discomfort
• Pain that travels down the leg
• Numbness, tingling, or warmth

These symptoms are commonly discussed in movement and clinical education when the lower back is under stress.
The body works as a connected system—when one area is affected, others may respond.
If this sounds familiar, I’d be happy to support you with therapeutic massage focused on helping your body feel more at ease.

👣 Your Feet Are Talking… Are You Listening?
Most people don’t realize this, but your feet are the foundation of your entire body. When your toes are cramped in tight shoes, it can throw off your balance, posture, and even lead to discomfort in your knees, hips, and back.
Now imagine the opposite… toes that can naturally spread (“happy toes”) ✨
That’s where better stability, alignment, and movement begin.
👉 When you start to fix your feet, it can create a domino effect throughout your entire body.
Small changes at the feet can lead to big improvements in how you move and feel every day.
🎥 Check out the professionals in this video to better understand foot health and how improving your toes can support your entire body from the ground up.

Posture Check! đź‘€

Many people don’t realize how much poor posture can affect the body. Slouching at a desk, looking down at phones, or sitting for long periods can contribute to:

• Neck pain
• Shoulder tension
• Headaches
• Jaw discomfort
• Upper back tightness

The good news is that small daily habits can make a big difference.
Here is a simple stretch routine that only takes about 2–3 minutes a day and can help encourage better posture and mobility.

🎥 Check out the video below from the professionals who created this convenient stretch.

Consistency is key. Taking just a few minutes to reset your posture throughout the day can help your body feel much better over time.

To my wonderful clients,

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your patience, kindness, and support during the past few weeks.

As many of you know, I was involved in a severe car accident that left me unable to work while my body healed. It has been a very challenging time, but the messages, gifts, and encouragement I received from so many of you truly meant more to me than words can express. ❤️ Your thoughtfulness reminded me just how special this community of clients really is.

I am incredibly grateful for your loyalty and understanding while I took the time necessary to recover. Helping people feel better and improving quality of life through therapeutic massage is something I am deeply passionate about, and I am truly excited to be getting back to doing what I love.

I am currently rescheduling clients whose appointments had to be canceled due to the accident. If you would like to get back on the schedule, please feel free to reach out.

📞 Call or Text: 352-362-4726

Thank you again for your continued support and for allowing me to be part of your health and wellness journey. I look forward to helping you feel your best and live your best quality of life.

With gratitude,
Iris

🚨 Shoulder Tightness? This Might Help You Understand Why… 🚨

Tight shoulders are one of the most common issues I see. Stress, posture, long hours at a desk, phone use, and even workouts can cause the muscles around the neck and shoulders to become restricted and uncomfortable.

I’m sharing this video because it provides a great visual explanation of some stretches people commonly use to support shoulder mobility. Sometimes seeing the movement makes it easier to understand what’s happening in the body.

👏 Be sure to check out and support the professionals who created this video, as they are the experts demonstrating these movements.

⚠️ Disclaimer:
This video is being shared for general educational and informational purposes only. The stretches shown are not suggested or prescribed by me. Every individual’s body, injuries, and medical conditions are different.

If you are experiencing pain, injury, or limited mobility, please consult with your physician or qualified healthcare professional before attempting any new stretches or exercises.

Massage therapy sessions are always customized to each client’s specific needs and condition.

Take care of those shoulders… they carry a lot more stress than we realize. 💆‍♀️

🚨 “Crappy” posture isn’t random. It starts somewhere.

Forward head posture. Rounded shoulders. That upper back hump.
Many times, it begins with two major muscle groups:

✔️ The neck muscles
✔️ The abdominal (core) muscles
When these areas are not functioning efficiently, the body compensates. Over time, that compensation can contribute to tension and discomfort that may be associated with:
• Neck pain
• Headaches
• Jaw tension or discomfort
• Upper and lower back stiffness
The body works as one connected system. When one area struggles, others often follow.

🎥 Check out the video below for an educational breakdown created by trained professionals explaining how these muscle groups influence posture and alignment.
This is shared strictly for awareness and educational purposes so you can better understand how posture may impact overall body mechanics.

Sitting all day at a desk, crafting, or working on hobbies? Try a cool tool I found called Aeronomic Desk Setup!

📸 Just snap a picture of yourself, and the AI shows what your posture might be doing—helping you become aware of habits that could lead to tension or discomfort.

⚠️ Not a recommendation or treatment—just an educational tool to increase awareness. If you have pain or injuries, always check with a qualified healthcare professional first.
