We are proud to support Wreaths Across America through a two-day participation honoring Veterans in our community.

On December 12 and 13, our teams placed wreaths at Hospice of Marion County’s Memorial Site and joined the community at Highland Memorial Park, coming together to remember the fallen, honor those who served, and reflect on the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes.

We are grateful to our colleagues and volunteers who helped make this meaningful tribute possible and ensured Veterans are honored with respect, remembrance, and gratitude.

We’re grateful to WCJB TV20 News for covering this year’s Lights of Love Memorial Tree lighting in downtown Ocala.

More than 400 names were displayed around the tree as families and friends gathered to honor loved ones and reflect on the impact hospice care has made in their lives.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening of remembrance, and to TV20 for helping share the spirit of Lights of Love with our community.

A bright light, even in dark times, that was the idea behind a gathering in Marion County that gave families of people in hospice share a chance to honor their loved ones.

Something special is taking shape in Ocala. Today we hosted a hard hat tour and check presentation to celebrate the progress of Empath Health's new dementia center, the first of its kind in the area and the future home of the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program.

This center will be a place of hope and connection, offering caregiver training, education for first responders, and meaningful programs like Memory Cafés and the Virtual Dementia Tour®.

Thank you to everyone helping bring this dream to life, from our foundation and the Community Foundation Ocala Marion County to our state legislators, donors, and local partners. Together, we’re creating a place where families living with dementia will never have to walk alone.

And yes! Everyone on the tour got to keep their hard hats! Safety first!

The holidays can be a sensitive time, especially when they bring memories of those we miss. Join us for Keeping the Holidays Light, an interactive workshop designed to help you navigate grief during the holiday season.

Participants will learn about the grieving process, discover helpful resources, and take part in creative arts and crafts to honor loved ones in a meaningful way.
