So, I just wrapped up doing a thing!

I have officially made it through my FIRST semester as a doctoral instructor.

Yesterday, I submitted the final grades for doctoral students in Industrial-Organizational and Business Psychology who were enrolled in my hybrid Professional Coaching and Consulting course.

We held four intensive seven-hour in-person sessions throughout the semester where students applied coaching and consulting theories through serious play methods. Between classes, each student coached an executive or entrepreneur in four sessions and wrote a reflective assignment after every engagement. In class, they also coached one another; during our final meeting, they completed an executive case analysis and designed frameworks for their own coaching and consulting practices. I faced challenges with the new college education standards but overcame them, and so did they!

All in all, I’m proud of what they accomplished.
