History working in crisis stabilization as an intern and later established myself as an in-home counselor working with families. I was later promoted to intake coordinator where I supervised over 13 counselors and became proficient in management skills and ensuring quality of services to the clients and their families. Later, I worked at Merrifield Center for the Partial Hospitalization Program fo

cusing with clients who step down from a hospitalization in a group therapy setting. Now, I currently work with Family Psychiatric Associates where I have been able to work with children, teens, adults and families on a diverse level of areas of their lives. Recently I have applied to become a clinical supervisor and hope to assist upcoming graduates on their path to becoming licensed counselors. I am advocate for education and providing each client with a wholesome experience of therapy that enriches their life to cultivate the self-esteem and self-worth needed to move forward.

After 6 years of working with Family Psychiatric Services I have decided to leave. My last day will be May 20th. I have learned a lot and experienced so much from fellow providers and clients alike. I will miss FPA !!!😊😍
