🧘🏻‍♀️Why become a Yoga Teacher?

As my years increase I return to the wisdom within me that says,
“Be stronger, connect with joy, learn more, give myself the care and love I need”.

The 10 months of Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200) has brought me deeper into ancient wisdom and my inner teacher, God/source/Universe/Divine Light.

The simple act of breathing deeply as you move in yoga takes you out of your fight/flight/freeze response and into a calming state. This happens even if you do chair yoga. 😃

The physical strength of putting your body weight on your hands or just standing on two feet increases not only your bone density but also the spiritual awareness of the sacredness your body.

So much more to share but for now I am grateful to Moira Anderson at and Laura Tyree Yoga our great teachers and to my class mates who touched me deeply as we all evolved and transformed together 💫🙏🏼😘

BEHIND THE SCENES
There is great love here. ❤️

As presenters we went through the retreat and began with our own healing and our connection with the divine within us.

Our .ms and .ms Day Retreat at 3707 Groveland Rd in Ocean Springs will begin out doors for a few minutes in the Zen Garden.

“Be still and know that I am God”

In mediation also called centering prayer, we begin to go within.
Each little cell within us awakens to the ancient wisdom of peace.

Then in quiet silence we experience 15 min each of Myofascial release, Himalayan Salt room, Infrared sauna with red light therapy, and contrast baths.

👩🏼‍🍳Lunch- A surprise ancient food by Chef Fariha will be introduced and an explanation of the healing aspects of our incredibly delicious lunch.

🎤Presentation- Betty Sue O’Brian Natural physician, M.S, will share the wisdom she shares with her clients on healing from the inside out.
She will give us charts on healing foods, clean eating as cleansing, info on each organ and how to cleanse it properly and what its job is in the elimination process.

Zen Den and By The Fig & The Olive Day Retreat 💗. I’ve had the pleasure of being in the tunnels of a salt mine that was transformed into a church in Zipaquira, Colombia and the Arab baths in Granada, Spain.

When I walked into Zen Den last January I was taken back to both of those mysterious, beautiful, healing spaces.

At that moment I knew the next 2025 retreat would take place in THIS healing space in Ocean Springs because I love it!! The energy and healing aspects are transformative!

What type of a retreat?

This is a Beautiful Day Retreat to purify the body, starting with Zen Den’s Nordic cycle:
Himalayan Salt room,
Infrared sauna/red light therapy, Myofascial release (an add on 🤗)
Hot and cold plunge,
