The following quote has been stated by many and many attribute it to Einstein. Who knows for certain where it comes from, it nevertheless is the absolute truth, Insanity is doing something over and over, but expecting a different result.
When it comes to drugs and addiction in the United States ……. Haven’t we been doing exactly that long enough to be willing to consider there just might be another, more successful, way we need to consider?
The war on drugs has been being fought for over 50 years now. Ask yourself….. are we really any closer to eradicating the effects they have on society in this country today than we were back then? If anything, the effects are far more deadly than ever.
I have a solution. It will take a lot of work from both sides of our political landscape but I believe it can be done without compromising public safety.
