🌟 Every Body Tells a Different Story 🌟

No two programs I create are the same — because no two bodies, goals, or spirits are the same.

This week, I wrapped a program for a powerful track athlete. His needs? Learning to safely navigate the weight training floor, gain size and strength, lifting techniques that transferred to his sport, explosive speed, balance, core control, injury prevention and mental rehearsal.

When we started, we had to program for postural imbalances and no lifting history. We corrected hip integrity, ankle, knee and core stability. We improved shoulder range of motion, learned about recovery methods such as pool work and nighttime nervous system recovery to set him ahead of his competition. This was all woven into his lifestyle, not just his sport.

WHY THE SCALE PLAYS TRICKS WITH YOUR MIND IN “WEIGHT” LOSS

The focus needs to be on BUILDING muscle mass and losing body fat. Drop the TONING word from your vocabulary. You can’t tone what barely exists. Body fat is ONLY reduced by being in a CONSISTENT CALORIE DEFICIT. Muscle mass is ONLY built by being in a CALORIE SURPLUS and lifting heavy. 1200 calorie diets are frickin’ insane unless you are about a five year old kid. Food is fuel and a portal for purpose.
