The Diabetes Center We are a Nurse-Practitioner-owned clinic specializing in diabetes. We have three providers, and see patients ages 3 and up from all over the Gulf Coast.

The Diabetes Center actively monitors over 3000 patients using insulin pumps, glucose sensors, and the newest available technology to provide optimal treatment and care. Owner KC Arnold, ANP, along with Brooke Botts, and Shayna Perkins, FNP help patients manage their disease, so that it doesn't control them. Based in Ocean Springs, MS, the practice opened on Nov. 1, 2005 as a direct result of Hurricane Katrina. It serves a patient population with a 75-mile radius on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Diabetes Center accepts most insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and many others.

We are sad to announce that Breanna Shenk, FNP has left The Diabetes Center to pursue other opportunities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Breanna for her dedicated service and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

She will be replaced by Taylor Darden, FNP. Taylor will assume Breanna's schedule.
