If you've been told to avoid intense exercise because "it raises cortisol" ... you weren't told the whole story.
Cortisol is not the enemy - it's how you're body mobilizes fuel and helps you perform.
When you work hard cortisol rises temporarily BUT it comes back down. That's normal adaptation, not a sign of dysfunction.
The real problem isn't your workout; it's chronic stress, poor sleep, and under-fueling.
Train smart, recover well, and cortisol becomes part of getting stronger.
