Our products are all uniquely handmade and consist of the finest natural and organic ingredients and they smell a-m-a-z-I-n-g. So treat your body with respect by indulging your senses and your soul. Here is a little story about how soap making began. But really, no one knows. But this I do know: Mostly all commercially made soaps contain sodium laurel sulfate commonly referred to on their label as "SLS", which overtime will enter through your skin and eventually into your blood stream. This is a toxic agent! Propolyne glycol is another ingredient found in most all commercially made soaps and has been proven to "dry out" the skin. There are no detergents, SLS or parabens in our soaps. They are perfectly pH balanced and adapt to all skin types. So, please read on:

Clay tablets dating back to 2500 BC suggest that soap was first used for styling hair, as well as to aid in healing wounds. Cleopatra used milk, honey and essential oils in her bathing rituals. She used sand as a cleaning agent, scrubbing off skin as well as dirt. In ancient Rome, Romans combined goat’s tallow and the ashes of the beech tree to create their soaps. Roman legend has it that soap got it’s name from Mount Sapo, where animals were sacrificed. Rain washed the ashes and animal fats down the mountain into the clay soil along the Tiber River. Women washing clothes there found that the clothes came clean more easily using this mixture. Whether you purchase your soaps from me or from another organic soaper, please just make yourself the promise to never again cleanse with a commercial grade soap! Keep your body pure and your mind will be cleansed too.
