Healing isn’t always a straight line — sometimes, we feel worse before we feel better. 😌

This temporary phase, called a Healing Crisis, happens because your body is releasing built-up toxins and emotional baggage that have been trapped inside. You might notice fatigue, mood shifts, headaches, or flu-like symptoms as your nervous system recalibrates.

Although it can be uncomfortable, it’s a necessary step on the path to deeper wellness and balance. Remember, these symptoms are signs that real healing is happening beneath the surface.

Be gentle with yourself during this time. Rest, hydrate, and give your body space to clear out the “ick” so you can thrive.

Of course, ALWAYS check in with your practitioner/doctor about these symptoms so we can guide you and support you during this time!!!

You’re not “bad at resting.”
Your stress cycle ♻️ just isn’t complete.

Stress isn’t meant to sit in your body.
It’s meant to move through it. 🏃

🍃 Stressor → Action → Release → Recovery 🍃

But most of us skip straight to rest… 😴
while our nervous system is still in fight-or-flight. 😱

So the stress stays stored. And it shows up as:
🥱fatigue
😵‍💫anxiety
😫irritability
😵burnout
🫠poor sleep

Rest only works when the cycle is complete.

Your body needs release first:

– move (walk, shake, lift, stretch) 🚶
– breathe (signal safety) 💨
– cry (yes, really) 😢
– laugh (powerful reset) 🤣
– express (journal, hum, sing, create) 🎤

Then… your body can actually rest.

Healing isn’t just doing less. It’s completing what your body started.

Remember:
Regulate → Release → Complete 🌱
