Food is medicine. This is especially true immediately after you have given birth. While there are many factors to postpartum healing, the food that you eat is a major one. The food you eat after you give birth can either help or hinder your healing, so having the knowledge about what you should eat is one of the most empowering tools that you can have when planning your postpartum recovery.

Healing happens when we gather together. .ellers and I are hosting a workshop on November 20th at 3pm. This will be two hours of gentle core work, yoga, breathwork, discussion and a yoni steam.

The postpartum period is technically anytime in your life after you have given birth, so this workshop is for you whether you gave birth a few weeks or 10 years ago. While this gathering is virtual, the community love and support will be felt. We will support each other in healing and reconnecting to our bodies.

Lately my hormones have been pretty out of whack and thanks to a recent recommendation from I’ve started seed cycling. Seed cycling is eating pumpkin, sunflower, flax and sesame seeds at different times throughout your cycle to help regulate your hormones. Dear Mama,

I see you.

This time in your life is both exciting and scary. It’s a new chapter that will be full of growth, challenges, and beauty. And I am here for all of it. I will guide and support you in your healing within the first 40 days of birth, so you can thrive for the next 40 years of your life.

Giving birth is a rite of passage, but it is not often seen that way in today’s society. You deserve to be nurtured and honored through this journey as you come out of the other side of this initiation as a different person. I am here to hold the space for that transformation.

If you feel anxious and overwhelmed, I will help you find your center and integrate. If you feel immense joy, I will celebrate with you. If you can’t see the light, I will sit with you in the dark.
