Do I do face and neck massage? Of course I do! 😊 Do I do face massage during every massage? It depends! It usually comes down to priority and time factors. ⏳ Also, for some clients, they may be wearing makeup or sunscreen products that they choose to not have disrupted during therapy, which I always like to be aware of. 💄💆‍♀️ Hair and makeup post-massage is important if requested to keep its integrity.

Some of you may not know this about Reverse Effects, but 20 years ago, we hosted esthetique services and I did a lot of the training of the product lines to the new estheticians that we would contract with. 🎓✨ It was fun and kept us current, and of course, I loved giving facials! 🌟 If you're looking for a rejuvenating experience that caters to your individual needs, let’s chat about how we can incorporate facial massages into your next session! 💖

Knowing anatomy becomes more important as you get older and you try to identify what may be causing your aches and pains. 🩺 The spleen is a quiet organ. It may get enlarged or feel swollen, but normally, it goes unnoticed and goes along each day working hard for you and powering and controlling your immune system. At least that is what I was taught in massage school when I studied lymphatic drainage massage circa 2010. 💪 It is located just under your ribcage on the left side of your abdominal area. It can be removed without much consequence; liver and bone marrow can assume function and facilitate duties of the missing spleen. Energetically, you will always have a spleen and you can nourish it with yummy yellow vegetables like squashes and potatoes. 🌻 Imagine bright sunshine energy filling your spleen in the morning. The spleen loves being nourished and supported. Our immune system is always working for us and so is our lymphatic system! 🌿✨

Flashback Thursday! We used to be famous in the cycling world! North Coast Velo is the cycling club that I have been riding with for over 10 years! We used to challenge ourselves and do crazy things like do 100 and 200 mile rides! Some guys would even claim 400 in two days! I know! Crazy! But I have to say I still know all but 1 person in the photo! They used our photo for the 2016 season even though we earned our medals in 2015! So fun riding with this crew! We used to say that we were "Beer drinkers with a cycling problem!"
I still love to get on my bike and ride the rail trail path to Escondido! If you are a cyclist too, you should come and see me and I will help you be better for your next ride! Massage therapy should be part of every healthy riders program!

Do you love your mascara? If you do, then I want to know what you use! I am exclusively using this formula now from ColoreScience....and I am loving my lashes. I like my natural lashes to be as long and healthy as they can be and I find that this stays on all day long and washes off with a good cleanser like iS Clinical Cleansing Complex. Flashback Thursday! I found this photo from back in 2015! I can't believe how different Reverse Effects, Inc looks now! I totally forgot that it had the wall paper everywhere! And I mean EVERYWHERE! There are still some spots in the office that the wallpaper lives on...but most of the space has had an update! I kind of like the homey feeling the wallpaper gave the office! Now I just want to just get rid of all the things that have been in my space for 20 years(+)! Yikes!

Here is a great picture of the building directory for Reverse Effects. The building layout is a bit confusing, but this image gives you a good idea of where my office is. If you are facing the building directory, the one on the Waring Ct. (Street side) of the building, then my office is the door to the left of you. It is right off the courtyard and if you could walk through the wall to the other side of the directory, you would be standing inside my massage therapy room! So when you are walking down the hallway, be very very quiet!
In the photo, the "Red Arrow" that indicates "you are here" is literally pointing to my office!
Now, google maps and other directional driving apps may direct you to the parking lot. That would be on the Suite J side of the building. If you park in the lot, just walk down one of the corridors to the street side of the complex. There you will find Suite L. Please note: the suite numbers are not alphabetical, so please don't let that affect the direction of travel!
I hope this helps you arrive to your appointment feeling confident about accessing my location.
