Building gingerbread houses isn’t just fun—it’s packed with learning through play!

🗣 Speech Therapy:
• Modeling language
• Learning prepositions (on, under, next to!)
• Following directions & sequencing

✋ Occupational Therapy:
• Increasing independence with utensils
• Exploring new textures
• Adding a few veggies to increase interactions through play
• Building emotional regulation skills when houses fall down 😅

Trick-or-treating will happen during regular therapy sessions, but ALL of our families are invited to stop by — even if you don’t have a scheduled session! 💜

From : "Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. Children with the diagnosis of apraxia of speech generally have a good understanding of language and know what they want to say.
