I’m incredibly honored to share that the American Optometric Association (AOA) Contact Lens and Cornea Section (CLCS) Council has selected me as the recipient of the 2025 Luminary Award for Distinguished Practice.
This award is presented annually to a CLCS member who exemplifies excellence in clinical practice, has built a thriving contact lens specialty, and is dedicated to mentoring and uplifting others in the field. To be recognized among such passionate and innovative peers is truly humbling.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside brilliant colleagues, learning from inspiring mentors, and supporting the next generation of optometrists. This recognition is not just a personal milestone—it’s a celebration of the collective effort, collaboration, and commitment that define our profession.
To the AOA CLCS Council: thank you for this incredible honor. And to my patients, peers, and students—thank you for trusting me, challenging me, and motivating me to keep growing.
