What Qualifications will I need to provide Caregiving to our students?

- A passion for helping others; truly compassionate and caring
- Must be least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Must be available to work a schedule that will consist of both first and second shifts, every other weekend, double shifts, and a holiday rotation.

As a Caregiver you will:

- Provides caregiving and direct support to developmentally disabled youth.
- Providing supervision, coaching, modeling, engagement, and support of students in living, activity, school and community settings.
- Assisting students with carrying out daily living activities, recreational activities, developing self-care skills (health/hygiene), learning and practicing social and peer interaction, community interaction and coping skills, budgeting for small personal expenditures, and school work and/or homework.
- Complete documentation including tracking behavioral data, shift summaries, and incident reports
- Assist in development and implantation of treatment plans in collaboration with our treatment team.
- Demonstrate proactive, appropriate, and effective interactions with students while maintaining self-control during crisis interventions.
- Being a consistent, supportive and patient individual wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of our students
