March = Momentum 🌿✨

New month. New energy. New intention.

Instead of chasing goals, I’m choosing a focus for this season:

🌱 Clarity over chaos
🔥 Discipline over distraction
🤍 Faith over fear
📈 Progress over perfection

March feels like a rising. A reset. A quiet glow-up.

Not the loud, overnight kind —
the steady, becoming-who-I-said-I’d-be kind.

Now I want to hear from you 👇🏽
What are you rising from this March?

Drop one word in the comments. Let’s step into this next level together.

Slowing down for ourselves is more than okay—it’s necessary. In a world that praises speed and constant productivity, choosing to pause is an act of care, not laziness.

When we slow down, we give our minds space to breathe, our bodies time to recover, and our hearts a chance to catch up.

Rest helps us reconnect with what actually matters, instead of just reacting to what’s loud or urgent.

Grief can feel isolating, like the world keeps moving while you’re standing still. In those moments, friendship becomes a quiet kind of power.

A friend doesn’t need the right words. Their presence alone—sitting beside you, checking in, remembering the hard dates—can soften the weight of loss. Friendship in grief looks like shared silence, laughter that surprises you, and someone willing to hold space when you don’t have the strength to carry it alone.

True friends remind us that grief doesn’t have to be walked in isolation. They help anchor us to life, to love, and to the parts of ourselves that feel lost. In times of grief, friendship isn’t just support—it’s a lifeline.

Remember....it's ok to not be ok.

Grief changes the rules of self-love.

Sometimes self-love isn’t bubble baths or productivity—it’s permission to slow down, to feel messy, to rest without fixing anything. During grief, loving yourself might look like listening to your body, breathing through heaviness, and choosing gentleness over “strength.” Yoga can be a quiet companion here—not to heal everything, but to help you stay with yourself.

Self-love in grief is not about becoming “okay.”
It’s about staying close to yourself, exactly as you are. 🌱

✨ February with Rising Phoenix Yoga ✨

February is often called the month of love—but this year, we’re turning that love inward. This month, our focus will be self-love in times of grief.

Grief isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet, heavy, or lingering beneath the surface. It can come from loss, change, endings, or versions of ourselves we’ve had to let go of. Through February, we’ll create space to move gently, breathe deeply, and practice compassion for exactly where we are.

Expect grounding practices, heart-centered movements, nervous system support, and reminders that self-love doesn’t mean “fixing” anything—it means showing up with tenderness.

You don’t have to carry it alone.
Come as you are. 💫

Rising Phoenix Yoga Update 🤍

First, I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding at the end of 2025 as I took time to grieve the loss of my mom. That space meant more to me than I can put into words.

It’s no secret that life has shifted in ways I never expected. Losing my mom changed me at my core, and with that, my yoga practice and business needs to change too.

For now, I will no longer be offering private yoga lessons. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s a necessary one. When you yourself are broken, you can’t truly lead someone else on their path of healing— and honoring that truth is part of who I am at my core.

That said, Rising Phoenix Yoga is not disappearing. I will still be holding meaningful, joy-filled events like puppy yoga and other offerings that bring connection, lightness, and moments of calm.

And while offerings may look different and be fewer, my social media will still be filled with supportive yoga and wellness tips, gentle practices, and inspiration you can take into your everyday life.

This season is about listening, resting, and allowing space for grief and growth to coexist. Thank you for your continued love, support, and understanding as this journey evolves. Know that Rising Phoenix Yoga is here for you in the best way I can be right now. 💛

Sometimes, the most powerful practice is knowing when to pause and heal yourself instead of others.🤍🔥
