A letter from Dr. Barb-
Dear Patients, Families, and Friends,
Thank you so much for your visits, your trust, and the privilege of allowing me to care for you and your children. After 27 years of practice, I have made the decision to retire.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to care for so many of you—some from birth all the way to college. Watching children grow through each stage of life has been a deeply fulfilling experience. Those long relationships are milestones I will always treasure.
The memories I carry with me are rich and varied, but the ones I choose to hold closest are the joyful, funny things kids say—the innocent wisdom and humor that filled my days. Like the 3-year-old who looked down at her feet and said, “When I’m older, I’ll have bigger shoes,” or the 8-year-old who told me he puts his dirty clothes “in his hamster.” I’ve chuckled often, especially at the sweet 3-year-old who decided to call me “Dr. Barbie.” What a gift.
In these times of medical uncertainty, I am grateful that so many of you came to me with your questions about vaccines, supplements, and health decisions. I’ve always tried to give you honest, informed answers—even if I had to call back a few hours (or a day!) later. Thank you for your patience.
Most of all, thank you for allowing me to become part of your lives and care for your children. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the trust. These are the things I will carry into retirement with a full heart.
Wishing you all the very best—good health, happiness, and lots of love.
