Tick bites are usually painless and may look like a small red bump. Watch for:
✔️ A bulls-eye rash
✔️ Swelling or redness
✔️ Flu-like symptoms

If you spot any of these or find a tick, call your pediatrician. Early treatment matters!

Lyme disease is the highest reported tick-borne illness in Wisconsin, making it is extremely important to watch for symptoms of Lyme disease in your child. Because children have a hard way of expressing what is wrong, symptoms could go unnoticed. If you child came in contact with a tick, watch for the symptoms listed in the graphic below.

If your child is experiencing any of these symptoms after being in contact with a tick, please call & bring them into LCP as soon as possible.
