🚨 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY 🚨 today we celebrate Cristin’s incredible story:
“I came to Burn for a simple reason: after three kids, I wanted to lose weight. I'd been trying on my own-workouts here and there, better eating but the results never showed up. I wasn't confident enough to start something alone, so I asked my sisterinlaw to come with me after hearing about Burn from another mom friend. After our very first workout, we both signed up for 18 months. I remember standing in front of the transformation wall and promising myself I'd make it there.
My first year was all about the scale. I weighed myself two to four times a day. I ate less, tried fasting, and hit camps regularly.
I was only three months postpartum, so many mornings started at 4:30 a.m., pumping in the parking lot before walking in. The weight began to come off, and seeing those numbers drop felt amazing—until they slowed. That's when I started to question what I was really chasing.
A few short focus meetings with Caty changed everything. She helped me realize I needed to step away from the scale and start working on me. I shifted my goals from thinner to stronger. Now I do an Evolt scan once a month and that's it. I measure progress by how many pushups I can do, how heavy I can lift, and how steady my mind feels, not by a number on a screen. I compete with myself, not with the person next to me. I'm relearning what's possible instead of rehearsing my limitations.
One moment sealed it. My son said, unprompted, "My mom is going to be stronger than you she's been working out." I wrote that down and taped it to my dashboard. I see it every time I drive. It reminds me that strength is something my kids can see, not just something I feel.
Burn taught me discipline— the kind that gets you out of bed when you don't want to. That discipline got me through the door. What's kept me here for two years isn't weight loss, though that was exciting for a while. It's the energy I carry into my day, the mental clarity, and the strength I feel in my body and my choices.
And the community matters. If you're a social butterfly, you'll find your people. If you're more like me—a quiet, head down “silent assassin"—you'll fit right in, too. Burn meets you where you are and pushes you toward who you're becoming.
My transformation isn't just about how I look.
It's about how I live.”
This is what it’s all about! Congratulations Cristin Goetzka 🩵
