Lake Country Landing

Lake Country Landing We offer a lifestyle that includes access to rehabilitation, housekeeping, and laundry services. Ensuring our residents’ comfort is of the highest importance.

Participate in daily activities with others, enjoy a beautiful stroll on our walking path, or indulge in a tasty meal off our everyday bistro menu. Our approach is to ensure maximum independence and offer reliable support in an atmosphere you can call home. We have the option of one or two-bedroom apartments, with a month-to-month rate. With Lake Country Health Services located on the same property, we offer the convenience of multiple levels of care and rehabilitation. We strongly encourage resident engagement and socialization activities through family functions, and one-on-one support. There are several planned activities in the facility including themed events, baking classes in the bistro and holiday parties. Lake Country Landing also provides free, local transportation for its residents. We feel it is important to keep our residents engaged in the community and help them to feel a part of it. We recently were awarded a 2020 – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The Award Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. This award recognizes our commitment to the pursuit of quality and our focus on developing systems and protocols that meet our residents’ needs and provide consistent quality care.

We had our employee holiday lunch this week! We exchanged secret Santa gifts and received a cute gift set from our Executive Director. We all want to say thank you for the opportunity to spend time with each other, laughing and enjoying delicious lasagna and Caesar salad from Bella Gusto Italian Deli & Pizzeria.

Last week, we did an ornament making craft. The residents were able to use their creativity and pick their favorite colors to create their masterpieces. We even had a few staff members join in, and it was amazing watching them bond together over this craft. They were thrilled once they dried and were able to take them home for their own trees, and as gifts for loved ones!

We had a phenomenal turn out with Boy Scouts Packs 170 and 212 on Veterans Day. They did a special presentation, played bingo with the residents, and brought cookies and bingo prizes!

Big Shout out to Jean Rosch, with the Boy Scouts, for being a wonderful leader and helping organize this amazing event! The Boy Scouts individually acknowledged our Veterans and their spouses and even their own pack Veterans.

We were so grateful for their visit and the residents couldn't have expressed more gratitude and enjoyment after they left.

Life Enrichment Coordinator Dani spent time with resident Nona making an apple pie! 🥧🍎

Nona asked Dani to find a recipe she could use to make a pie in her friend Carol's bundt pan. The baked pie was then gifted to Carol, who loved the surprise! The pie turned out beautifully and Carol planned to share it with everyone at dinner that evening. What a heartwarming gesture!

Pictured is Carol with her delicious gift. ♥
