Family Fun Night was a huge success! 🌟

We couldn’t have asked for a better evening — beautiful weather, no rain, and the wind even gave us a break. It was the perfect backdrop for a night filled with laughter, music, and community.

A huge thank you to all the families and friends who joined us — your presence made the night truly special. 🍔🌭 Our grill masters kept the food coming with delicious burgers, brats, and hot dogs, and we were treated to live music by the talented Luke Zastrow. 🎶

This was Luke’s final performance at The Meadowlands as he retires at the end of the year. We wish him all the best in his next chapter — thank you, Luke, for the joy you've brought to The Cottages over the years!

Kids bounced their hearts out in the bounce house, games were played, and raffle baskets from amazing sponsors like Compassus Hospice, Moments Hospice, CarePatrol, Dementia Care Solutions, Unity Hospice, Jessica Athey, and The Cottages Senior Living and Memory Care added to the fun. 🎟️

Special thanks to Jim from Sportsmen with Heart for joining us! Their nonprofit offers free camping vacations for special needs children and kids from single-parent homes — complete with fishing, swimming, a playground, and soon, a mini golf course! 🏕️💙

We took a fun little trip to Primal Eats in Gillett for a delicious meal. The brisket and mac & cheese were fan favorites! 😋

The food was amazing, but the best part? Relaxing around the fire pit, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company. 🧡

This morning, one of our resident's long-time friends brought in her 4-month-old Pygmy Goat, Jelly, to visit. Our residents were quite surprised by this visitor. Jelly brought huge smiles to everyone's faces. 🐐🥰

The Cottages at Meadowlands has a 20-unit memory care facility dedicated to providing the special care that is required for someone with dementia. Our Memory Care facilities are a place where your loved one can reside in a safe and supportive environment. Staff members are professionally trained in approaches and care for all types and stages of dementia, specifically Alzheimer’s Disease.

Memory Care includes helping our residents with frequent reminders, redirection and calm reassurance. A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia is not required to live at The Cottages Memory Care.
