Don’s Journey to Independence at Oconto

Don Stoll came to Oconto needing assistance with mobility, daily activities, and cues for safety to reduce falls. After a month and a half of hard work with our therapy and care teams, he achieved 100% of his goals.

Don shared, “Everyone was so helpful and really cares about what they are doing. It feels good to be able to go back home and see my cat and doing therapy was a big part of that.”

He discharged home safely, walking with a 4-wheel walker, and is now ready to enjoy life at home.

Last week, we celebrated his retirement and the joy he brought to our facility through entertainment. He will be truly missed by our staff, residents, and the Activities Department.
