Connective Tissue Tonic ๐Ÿƒโœจ๐ŸŒฟ This formula is traditionally made into a tincture, though it can also be used in infused oils or salves, to support healing of tendons, ligaments, connective tissue, and bones.

๐ŸŒฑ Ingredients:
40% Solomonโ€™s Seal (Polygonatum multiflorum)
20% Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)
20% Nettle Leaf (Urtica dioica)
10% Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum)
5% Cayenne (Capsicum annuum)
5% Lobelia (Lobelia inflata)

It works on multiple levels:
๐ŸŒฑ Mineral support for musculoskeletal tissues (Horsetail, Nettle)
๐ŸŒฑ Connective tissue deposition and repair (Boneset)
๐ŸŒฑ Circulation and tissue stimulation (Cayenne, Lobelia)
๐ŸŒฑ Fluid lubrication and tone adjustment (Solomonโ€™s Seal)

Solomonโ€™s Seal leads the blend, providing a gentle, moistening quality that helps lubricate joint fluids and adjust connective tissue tone.

The Church has always decried gloomy Christians. The great doctor St. Teresa of รvila once prayed, โ€œFrom sour-faced saints, good Lord, deliver us!โ€ It would seem that there is nothing more incongruent with Christianity than sadness of spirit. Pope Francis, in his Catechesis on Vices and Virtues, used the words, โ€œa rather ugly vice, sadness, understood as a despondency of the soul, a constant affliction that prevents people from feeling joy at their own existence.โ€ Our Lord Himself gives us a list of Beatitudes (Mt 5:3-12) which are, in a way, characteristics of a saint (we read the Gospel excerpt on All Saints Day). Each beatitude begins with โ€œBlessed โ€ฆโ€. The Greek word for Blessed used here (makarios), can also be translated as Happy.

But how, we could ask, are we expected to be happy and joyful in a world so full of the darkness of sin, of war, of hatred, selfishness, foolishness, pain, and loss? How indeed can we rejoice when our own sins and weaknesses weigh us down?

Dandelion and Burdock serve as classic alteratives, supporting detoxification, lymph movement, and skin health. Echinacea amplifies this by stimulating the immune system, circulation, and liver function. When using alteratives, keep in mind that if stagnation and toxicity are high, the release of waste products can trigger immune responses, sometimes leading to mild fevers or infection-like symptoms.

Thatโ€™s why Echinacea is a key addition here, not just for immunity, but as an alterative in its own right. Yellow Dock stimulates the liver, acts as a bitter tonic, and provides gentle laxative support. Red Clover moves the lymph, Nettle nourishes while acting as a diuretic, and Sassafras stimulates circulation to enhance the formulaโ€™s reach.

This blend, typically blended in tincture form, works systemically, supporting deep purification and renewal. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

It's garden planning season!! ๐Ÿซ› If you're starting a new garden, it's best to consider your space first. A small yard may benefit from square-foot gardening or compact raised beds, while larger lots often work best with traditional row planting. Poor soil? Raised beds can help. Limited sun? Choose shade-tolerant crops and place your beds where theyโ€™ll get the most light.

Check out eight of the most common vegetable garden layout stylesโ€”from raised beds and square-foot gardening to traditional rows and container gardens. Compare options, see real-life examples, and explore detailed garden plans from our gardening experts at Almanac.com/over-20-vegetable-garden-layout-ideas ๐Ÿฅ•

Print out this handy Companion Planting Chart and keep it with your seeds! ๐Ÿฅ’ Companion planting is a simple way to grow a healthier, more productive gardenโ€”all naturally.

For example, plant dill with tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants, as well as with cabbages and other brassicas. Keep it away from cilantro, which it will cross-pollinate with. Dill also works well as a trap crop for tomato hornworms and aphids ๐Ÿชฒ

Our Story

The online and retail store is placed in the "Frenchtown" area of Oconto. The church standing today built in 1895, has replaced the original 1857 church. The former convent where the store is located housed 6 nuns until it closed along with the parish in 2000. I wish to bring back "faith induced" traditions and hope to help our area regain its faithful people who are seeking strength through Jesus. I honor God, His Holy Trinity; Mary The Virgin Mother of God. I pray to the Angels and Saints. I practice traditions, and I pray the Holy Rosary. I invite everyone to join in my mission of faith.

Our retail store offers Health and Spiritual based wellness items for all faiths, and denominations. We have traditional sacramental gifts, and we honor spirituality of our brothers and sisters. All are welcome!

We also offer Health and Wellness Coaching....as to foster a relatively โ€œnew theoryโ€ called Whole Health Coaching. It is offered for all people who need assistance making natural health decisions. I am here to serve, and offer group and individual coaching at this time, encouraging clients to make good, healthy choices for themselves, based on specific needs. Mind, body, and spirit is what Whole Health Coaching is all about.

I received my training from Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I learned about over 100 dietary theories, studied practical lifestyle techniques, and learned how to motivate people and generate more wellness techniques into their lives. Drawing on this knowledge, I can help you form a completely personalized "road map to total health" that suits your unique lifestyle, preference and goals. At this time, I am offering my services to private groups as well as individuals. Book a session with me today!
