Hello Everyone!
I’m excited to connect with you all and share some exciting updates. With all the recent changes, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.
My name is Meagen, and I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals—one that has only grown stronger over the years. From a young age, my love for animals was obvious, and I would beg my parents for pets. They often joked, “You can have all the animals you want when you have your own place.” I’m not sure if they knew just how seriously I would take that! 🤣
Growing up, my family was always surrounded by dogs and cats, and as I got older, I developed a deep love for horses. With a family history of horse ownership on my mom's side, it was only a matter of time before horses became a part of my life too. Over the years, I’ve trained and shown my own horses in Western Pleasure, Halter classes, and Horsemanship. We’ve even tried our hand at gymkhana events, but nothing beats the joy of a peaceful trail ride on a beautiful day.
At home, my husband and I adore spending time with our animals, whether we’re playing with our dogs, cuddling with the cats, taking them for ice cream outings, or just spoiling them endlessly. Our furry family members bring us so much joy.
My passion for animals has not only shaped my personal life but has also guided my career path. For over ten years, I’ve been a Certified Equine Massage Therapist, helping horses feel their best. This year, I expanded my skills with certifications in Barn Management, Equine Behavior, and Animal Assisted Therapy. I’m also thrilled to share that I've recently joined the Board of Directors for the Oconto Area Humane Society—a role that aligns perfectly with my commitment to animal welfare.
If your horses could use some relaxation and relief, I’d love to offer my equine massage therapy services. After all, who doesn’t feel amazing after a good massage? With my recent certifications, I’m excited to expand my offerings and continue growing in this field.
