Odebolt Specialty Care is a skilled nursing and long-term care community providing compassionate, individualized care for our residents, while also caring for their family's wellbeing and peace of mind. We serve residents from Sac County, Iowa, and many surrounding communities. We are committed to providing our residents with an active and engaging quality of life through daily programming, social and educational activities, and services that promote physical health, provide mental stimulation, increase engagement and help our residents thrive in a home-like setting. Care Initiatives is Iowa’s largest nonprofit provider of high-quality skilled nursing care, hospice care, assisted living, independent living, memory care and more. Whether you are recovering from surgery or stroke or need around-the-clock care, Odebolt Specialty Care is here for you. Odebolt Specialty Care is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. We maintain a safe, clean and comfortable living environment which includes private, semi-private and suites for our residents. Odebolt Specialty Care provides specialized activities to meet the needs and interest of all our residents.

Our professional staff are committed to the elderly citizens of Odebolt and surrounding communities. In 2007, we added on a 9,000-square-foot assisted living facility. There are 10 units consisting of two suites and eight studio rooms. Each apartment is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, sit-down shower and other amenities. All are handicapped-accessible. Residents may also use a commons area and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Three meals a day are offered in the unit’s own dining room. Light housekeeping and linen service are provided weekly.

The addition also increased space for our therapy gym for outpatient therapy. We use state-of-the-art technology that customizes a care plan for each patient.
