Thank you for being part of MEDITATION MONDAY! Every Monday, let's take a moment to uplift each other through meditation and prayer. Whether you have five minutes or just a brief moment, your thoughts and intentions can make a profound difference. Set an intention, say a prayer for someone in need, or send love to everyone around you. Don't forget to acknowledge yourself for showing up. If this is a challenging time, take a few minutes whenever you can. Thank you in advance for your participation! I'm deeply grateful ππΏππΌππΎπ
Each week at the end of the meditation video, I feature a missing person to help those seeking a loved one.
Tonight we honor: Lina Ham
Lina Ham has been missing from the Bronx, New York since February 18, 1992, and her disappearance remains unsolved more than 30 years later. She was approximately 52 years old at the time she went missing. Lina left her home in the Bronx that day and never returned. She did not take her personal belongings with her, and there was no indication that she planned to leave or be away for any length of time. Her disappearance was considered out of character and immediately concerning.
Since that day, there have been no confirmed sightings and no clear explanation for what happened to her. Her case is classified as a cold missing person case, but it has never been closed. Over the years, very little information has surfaced, and answers remain elusive. Some records list her name as Lena Ham or Lana Ham, which may have caused confusion and made it more difficult to track information over time.
Lina is described as a Black woman with black hair and brown eyes. At the time she disappeared, she had several distinctive physical characteristics that could still help with identification today. She walked with a noticeable limp on her left leg, had a scar above her lip, and her right pinky finger curved inward. These details are important and may stand out to someone who remembers seeing her.
Although decades have passed, Lina Ham is still missing, and her life still matters. Many missing adult cases receive little attention, especially as time goes on, but someone may still hold information that could help bring answers. Even a small detail or memory could make a difference.
If you have any information at all about Lina Ham or believe you may have seen her at any point since 1992, please contact the NYPD Missing Persons Squad at 212-694-7781. If you believe you are seeing her now or there is an immediate situation, call 911. Anonymous tips can also be shared through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or 1-888-57-PISTA for Spanish speakers.
Please consider sharing this post to help keep Lina Hamβs name visible. Someone, somewhere, may still have the key to bringing long-overdue answers.
