💔 BREASTFEEDING MYTH 💔
"If breastfeeding is challenging in the beginning maybe there is something wrong with you."

While breastfeeding is inherently “simple”…it is usually not “easy” for most moms.

For something that is so natural, it is still a learned skill and can take days and weeks to get comfortable with.

A survey published in The Journal of Pediatrics revealed that “92% of all new moms had at least one concern by their third day of breastfeeding”. Early, PRENATAL breastfeeding education and support is the most important thing you can do to prepare for your baby’s arrival.

To my angel baby,

I wonder everyday who you would have been.
The places we could have gone, the things we could have seen.
I would have loved to see your face light up our Christmas tree, Or what we would have dressed up as every Halloween?

I wonder if you would have looked more like myself or your dad. I try and picture all these things, life can be so sad. I miss you more than words can say and if love could bring you back..
You'd be right here tucked in bed wrapped up in my arms.

I hope you send a rainbow to us with a little piece of you, and guide us through the days we are sad and help us make it through.

Until the day we meet again I pray you know you were loved, my little angel baby sent from way above.

"You should have heard the glugs these two were making after the fierce milk let down I had while looking at the pair of them and thinking how things really don’t get better than this. I’ve yet to fathom this tandem nursing thing - I know this looks exhausting but so far I’m finding it way more enjoyable and less painful than breastfeeding while pregnant - and although we’ve not quite found a comfortable position yet and I have no idea how it’s affecting my milk supply, they both fell asleep simultaneously seconds after this and so for now I’m claiming it as my own personal superpower 💪🏼 (spot the doll in the mix there too - the one who makes Eliana look like she has a tiny body and a massive head!)"

😭😭😭

I hate the part of parenthood when you’re finally done for the day, kid(s) in bed and you replay all the moments in the day where you could’ve been nicer, not yelled or gotten so upset. Makes me wanna wake my baby up and tell them how sorry I am and how hard I’m trying to be the best mommy 🥺
