Medical Center Health System Foundation The MCHS Foundation is the charitable arm of Medical Center Health System located in Odessa, Texas.

MCHS Foundation’s generous donors provide the resources necessary to add a margin of excellence to MCHS’s clinical and educational programs. Donor support helps to build new state-of-the-art facilities, purchase the latest technology, provide outreach to the community, and educate the region’s future medical professionals. The Foundation also serves as the umbrella for the Children's Miracle Network. Children’s Miracle Network (CMN Hospitals) impact the lives of more children than any other children’s charity in the world. CMN hospitals provide life-saving research and state-of-the-art care for seriously ill children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. CMN Hospitals raise funds for 170 hospitals serving children across North America, including Medical Center Hospital. Locally, CMN helps to fund:

• Life saving equipment for Medical Center Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and mobile equipment for ambulance and air transport of premature and sick newborns

• Continuing Education for NICU and pediatric nursing staff

• Ronald McDonald Family Room, which provides a respite for the families of children who are undergoing medical treatment. While providing many of the comforts of home, it alleviates much of the anxiety of being in a hospital environment. Families may use the area to rest, reflect, get something to eat and drink, shower or launder clothes.

Meet Sadie, our 2026 Children’s Miracle Network Champion 💛

Born four months prematurely at just 660 grams, Sadie’s journey began with incredible challenges and even greater strength. During her 126 days in the NICU, she faced an underdeveloped heart, fragile immune system, and lungs that needed time to grow. From ventilators to CPAP, then high-flow oxygen to a nasal cannula—Sadie fought her way to breathing on her own after 121 days.

Every milestone was hard-earned. From learning how to feed to overcoming daily obstacles, Sadie showed resilience far beyond her tiny size.

Today, Sadie is home and thriving—growing stronger each day thanks to the compassionate care made possible by the Medical Center Health System Foundation and supporters like you.
