In this role, you will be an essential part of our healthcare team, working alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, be familiar with electronic medical records systems, and have experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction of our providers
• Initiate in-take duties as patients arrive such as gathering vital signs, discussing symptoms, and documenting medical records accurately
• Assist in the transport of patients from various locations include waiting room, in-take room, and patient rooms
• Perform functions such as lab draws, swabs, etc.
• Administer prescribed medications to patients including immunizations (both adults and children)
• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment for providers
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in nursing, patient care, or similar roles (certification preferred)
• Easily build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to work well in teams with a positive attitude – a team player is a must!

I started Basin Family Care, hoping to provide a place where families would feel at home and safe to bring their loved ones for healthcare.
Over the last 20 years, you have trusted me with your healthcare and have become our family here at Basin. As most of you know, I am starting a new chapter in my life- the adventure of retirement. I would not be comfortable moving into retirement without knowing I am leaving my Basin Care Family in good hands.
I have prayed and know that Dr. Moody and Keelian Foster, FNP will continue to care and provide quality healthcare for our community, our patients and my own personal family.
