A Myofascial Restriction is a tight hardened fascia (connective tissue). It does not show up in standard radiologic tests. A restriction occurs following injury, trauma, inflammation, scarring or surgery, and can continue to tighten over time creating pain. Since all of the standardize tests do not show fascial restrictions, it is thought that an extremely high percentage of people suffering with pain may be having fascial problems, and most go undiagnosed. At Inspired Body Therapy, we use safe gentle hands-on effective techniques to identify and release the restrictions that drag your body’s system. We then apply a variety of pressures in combination with stretch and motion to release tensions, restrictions, eliminate pain and increase motion for a pain-free active life style.
