Meet the Pediatrician -

Hector Garcia, M.D.

Dr. Garcia is Board Certified in Pediatrics as well as Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He has been practicing Pediatrics in both clinic and hospital settings for 15+ years. Dr. Garcia is not only a Pediatrician, he is also a husband and father to three children.

Tiny Rx Pediatrics is officially opening its doors on May 11th! 🩺💙

We are beyond excited to begin caring and treating your kiddos - Newborn to 18 years old!
At Tiny Rx Pediatrics, we will be providing a personal, parent choice focused approach to pediatric care, because your voice matters in every decision of your kiddo’s healthcare.

An Administrative convenience fee of $150 for services and conveniences not covered by insurance for all new patients.

The Administrative fee allows the following services:
• Drive-thru visits for simple, quick concerns or paperwork pickup.
• Expedited forms (school, daycare, sports)
• Assistance with medical records, referrals, and administrative requests
• Printing, copying, and documentation services
• Coordination of outside services (labs, imaging, specialists)
• Access to a private and comfortable breastfeeding room
•A Frios Pop at yearly Well Child appointment.
• Convenient appointment scheduling designed for busy families.

Why Tiny Rx Pediatrics? A little history about how Tiny Rx Pediatrics got its name.

For several decades 310 Dotsy was home to Evan’s Pharmacy. A small town pharmacy for the community that the pharmacist loved and cared for. When the building would become the future home to a pediatric office, we wanted a name to show respect the love that Evan’s Pharmacy had for his community.

So while Tiny Rx will be a pediatric office “Rx” is a small homage to the previous owner and to the pharmacist that cared for this same community.

Tiny Rx Pediatrics’ hope is to share love and care to Odessa and the Permian Basin that has always been experienced at 310 Dotsy. Same building, same care for the community, but with “Tiny” patients.

Next week signs will change, but the foundation remains.

Update # 8 🥳

Privacy glass put in and it looks amazing!
Taping for texture and paint started.
New drop ceiling with new ceiling titles will be put in next week.
Bathroom update to be done next week.

The remodel should be officially complete in three weeks! 🙌🏻

Update # 7 -

Walls are all up!
Taping done!
Muddying to be finished up next!
We’ll be picking out countertops and flooring this weekend.
Paint has been chosen!
Ceiling tiles have been chosen!
Privacy glass to be put in next!
(It will be a glass wall on top of the half wall!)

Landscaping next up.
We talked with an arborist to make sure we keep our large trees beautiful!

Update # 8 will be so exciting!

We will start scheduling patients in February, for March as long as everything stays on track! *knock on wood*

We can’t wait to meet our Tiny patients soon!

It was an early Christmas present for Tiny Rx last week-

Inspections- passed ✔️✔️✔️
Plumbing complete- ✔️
Walls in exam rooms- ✔️✔️✔️✔️
Walls in Bathroom- ✔️
Walls in the Mother’s Room- next up!
Finish up Duct work- next up!

We are officially over the delayed hump and the finishline to a renovated and beautiful office is within view! 👀

We cannot wait to see all of our new Tiny (and big) patients very soon!
