Cody Fire department has played a very big part in fighting the Kilgore fire.
Rosebud BIA, Rosebud VFD, Mission VFD, Norris VFD, White River VFD & Wood VFD all sent trucks to the Kilgore fire.
Wood SD Volunteer Fire Dept sent a truck to the fire by Kilgore

“The BKR Task Force has sent five (5) fire trucks from Ainsworth, Raven, Long Pine, Bassett and Newport to the fire in the Halsey-Dunning area this evening and expect them to remain there until containment is reached and crews are released. Ainsworth and Springview are also assisting at the fire south of Kilgore tonight.”
*It was also a reported that Gordon, Rushville and Hay Springs firefighters are being sent to the fire near Oshkosh.
