We all have our drug of choice.
Things we do or consume to escape or feel numb. Maybe even things we do to escape from feeling too much.
Whatever pain we are running from, often we have a deeper pain that’s telling us that we’re not enough.
It says that we need something external to ourselves in the situation.
Something else to fill the gap and make up the difference.
The truth is that you’ve always been enough.
Realizing this gives you your power back, rather than temporarily masking the pain.
If you’re struggling with the feeling that you’re not enough (and who doesn’t feel this way from time to time?). Then please know that I am here to support you in this.
A holistic approach that balances mind, body, and spirit, is so helpful in supporting us through these moments, because it addresses you as an individual.
This is meant as a complement to therapy, if that’s what you need, rather than a replacement for it. Please seek out the help you need from every source, including licensed mental health providers.
