Holiday hours for Duke Family Wellness patients.
We are closing today at noon; closed tomorrow and Friday.
New Years Eve: we will close at noon. We will be closed New Years Day and the 2nd.
We are always on call to take texts and calls through our Business line. If there is an emergency after hours, please go to urgent care of the emergency department. If it is not an urgent need, your message will be received when we are in the office.
For our house call patients at home or in the facility, we will be taking care of your needs as they arise.

I am excited to announce a new initiative to engage with as many of you as possible through a “Ask Cindy” round table discussion on Facebook. This platform will allow you to pose medical questions for public viewing or, if preferred, send me a private message and I will share my advice anonymously. The discussion topics will encompass a wide range of subjects, including:
1. Hormone replacement therapy.
2. Weight loss.
3. Stem cell therapy.
4. Housecall visits for the elderly - home or facility. 5. Chronic health issues. 6. Acute sick questions.
7. Women’s health.
8. Men’s health.
9. Geriatric questions.
10. Pediatric questions. 11. Mental health questions.
12. Insurance concerns. 13. The functional medicine model and why many fee-for-service providers may not have your best interests at heart.
14. Hospice options and determining if it is the right time.
15. Podiatry problems.
16. Understanding why your provider may limit your consultation to 15 minutes and how you can better prepare. Possibly find a probider who will take 30 min to discuss all your needs.
17. What are Peptides and how can they help me?

If this initiative does not generate significant interest, I plan to create educational content on Instagram and TikTok. Please stay tuned for more information. I firmly believe that education is a powerful tool and that we can all learn from each other in a safe and supportive environment. Education is POWER!
