This October: A Gentle Reminder & A Grateful Heart…

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a cause that holds deep meaning for me. Many of you know my mother passed away from breast cancer, and because of her journey, I feel passionate about encouraging women to be empowered in their own health. This month, I gently remind you to take time for self-checks, screenings, and listening to your body—because early awareness truly saves lives. 💗

As the leaves change and we move into the season of gratitude, I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of your self-care. Each appointment is more than a session—it’s a chance for me to support your well-being and remind you to pause, breathe, and restore. I am so grateful for each of you who walks through my door.

A Note for You as We Return to Rhythm…

Before anything else:
Thank you for choosing healing, for choosing your body, and for continuing to show up—for both yourself and the people you love. You’re doing better than you think.

Back to Routines = Back to You.
As the school year begins and life returns to its regular pace, there’s an invitation I’ve been feeling:
Not just to return to routines—but to return to the body.

One of the most loving things we can do is remind our nervous system, over and over again:
“You’re safe with me. I’ve got you.”

Whether it’s five minutes of stillness in the morning, a gentle stretch before bed, or simply placing your hand on your chest and whispering “thank you,” your body is listening.

What I’ve Learned This Month:
Something I’ve come back to again and again lately is this: Keep your promises to yourself.

Not the big, grand gestures—the small ones:
• Drinking water when you said you would.
• Getting quiet instead of pushing through.
• Showing up for your massage even when life is full.

Every time you follow through on one of those small things, you rebuild trust with your body. And that trust is where self-worth begins.

As we step into August—Sun Safety Month—I wanted to share something that’s often overlooked: not all sunscreens are safe.
In fact, most over-the-counter sunscreens contain chemical filters like oxybenzone and avobenzone—ingredients that can disrupt hormones and have been linked to cancer-causing effects.

When you’re shopping for SPF, reach for mineral-based sunscreens only—those with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These offer broad-spectrum protection without penetrating the bloodstream. They’re gentle, effective, and truly support your skin’s health long-term.

Self-Care Corner: Emotional Release Through Sound and Vibrational Frequency-
Have you ever left a massage or healing session and felt like something let go, but you couldn’t quite explain it?

That’s the magic of your nervous system releasing stored emotion—often without words. And one of the most powerful tools I use to support that process is our InHarmony Vibroacoustic Therapy Bed.

This sound-and-vibration table uses low-frequency waves that move gently through your body—helping your system shift from stress and “fight or flight” into deep calm. These frequencies help regulate your vagus nerve, lower cortisol, and allow your body to release stuck emotional patterns… even if you’re not consciously aware of them.
