Jeremiah's, where the scones are as big as your face and super delicious, was the perfect place for lunch today! 🤩 The service was phenomenal, as was the food. We had fun biting into lemons and trying not to make a sour face 🍋🤪. We always have the best time at these luncheons. Thanks, Jeremiah's, we'll be back! 👋

What do you include in your ideal deviled egg? It was interesting to learn about the unique ways we each prepare them, and naturally, everyone believes their own recipe is the best. At least, that was our thought! Today, as we prepared deviled eggs, our residents had the opportunity to select their preferred ingredients and create their own customized deviled eggs. Unfortunately, we were unable to capture photographs of most of their finished creations because they were enjoyed almost as quickly as they were made! We had an egg-cellent time preparing our delicious recipes.😋

Today, Britney, Miranda, and Christina, who are all awesome members of our team, shared some amazing insights about their culture and this holiday. We even made an *ofrenda*, which is a memorial table to remember our friends from the past year. We shared stories and memories about each of them. We also enjoyed some *pan de mu**to*, a special bread, which was super tasty. Oh, and a big shout-out to Larry, one of our residents, for dressing up as Coco! It was such a wonderful experience learning about this culture!

It was an enjoyable afternoon. We heard stories about some of Taetum's ancestors who settled Bountiful, as well as pioneer stories from The Daughters of Pioneers. We had an amazing group from Bonneville High School who were there to help with this activity, and Nathan, a friend of Donna S., who came to share his amazing piano talent with us. He is indeed a very talented young man. We are truly blessed to have so many amazing people in our lives. Thanks to everyone who helped out with this wonderful activity.

Our dear friend, Maya the therapy dog, recently paid us a visit and generously brought Halloween gifts to share with our residents. Maya's tail was wagging enthusiastically as residents expressed their gratitude. In fact, Maya even vocalized her affection with a heartwarming howl where she said, "I love you." It was truly an adorable moment. The residents thoroughly enjoyed her visit and always eagerly anticipate the next one with Maya and Judy. Thank you so much for coming!
