Where is your Safe Space?
I thought hard in my mind to try and envision what or where my safe space was in my memories. Thinking back through the years. Not stopping anywhere certain even for a moment. With hopes of remembering where that would be. With no luck of finding somewhere to land & anchor.
I thought of a place with Hope. 🌹 A special woman who showed me so much of wisdom to be able to see my Self. That place with her was magic and it was amongst Sisters. I haven’t felt so safe around other women through out my life until I realized the hard truth of the wounds of separation & conditioning, and embraced it with full trust & open vulnerability of not being afraid to show up truly as I am. That took a lot of inner work and courage too.
I also thought of a place Here and Now. I felt that there is not a more safe place for me to be and to reside, than my own self - my Mind, Body & Spirit.
That’s where I took my mind today. My sacred safe space is within my own Self. My Soul has settled and is at ease with all of life and all its joy and tears. I feel safe enough inside to welcome everything that comes my way.
I know that in order for me to be the Divine channel of healing and miracles, I must be my own sacred space of feeling safe & protected.
The mantra born from this reflection is this:
I am a Safe Space.
I am Hope.
I am a Place Here and Now.
I am my Mind, Body & Spirit.
I am my Soul.
I am Divine.
I am Safe and Protected.
I am my own Safe Space.
I am my own Sanctuary.
