This is such an important post. As a two time cesarean mother myself, I feel this deeply. As a doula I feel it even deeper. I should never be excluded from a birth that moves into the operating room. I believe this can change if parents take a stand and demand that change. I have had a client be told no four times by four different people until they went to the top and got a yes. This must change.
