Lotus Mudra is a hand gesture that symbolizes openness and receptivity. This powerful mudra can bring a sense of peace and clarity to the mind, as well as a deeper connection to the heart. Practicing this mudra regularly can help reduce stress and promote relaxation.

By bringing the palms together in front of your chest, you create a sense of calm and focus. It’s a simple yet effective way to bring the body and mind into alignment. This mudra is often used during meditation to help quiet the mind and promote concentration.

The Lotus Mudra also promotes a sense of compassion and openness to both yourself and others. Practice this mudra whenever you need to reset your energy or ground yourself in the present moment. 🕊️👐

Join me for a Gentle Yoga practice focused on balancing the lower chakras — the energy centers connected to safety, creativity, and inner strength.

We’ll move gently, breathe deeply, and allow the body to settle — creating space for steadiness, confidence, and ease to arise naturally.

It’s most helpful for:
• Lower back discomfort, especially stiffness from sitting or moving less
• Tight hips, which often contribute to back aches
• A feeling of compression or heaviness in the low spine
• General tension in the front of the body, including the belly and chest

Because sphinx is a soft, supported pose, it can feel soothing rather than effortful. Many people find it helps them ease into movement without pushing or straining.

It’s usually most comfortable when:
• You keep the pose low and relaxed
• You don’t force the lift
• You rest and breathe instead of “doing” the pose

If sphinx creates sharp pain, pinching, or discomfort, it’s a sign to come out or adjust — it should feel opening, not intense.
