The CHMC Auxiliary has a membership of 113 women who provide outreach for our community and raise funds for our local medical center in Ogdensburg NY.

When you support Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary Fundraisers and/or buy from the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Shop, amazing things like this happen!
If you have been to our Registration area waiting room, our Radiology waiting room or our Rehab Services (Physical Therapy and Cardiology Services) waiting room, you know just how badly our furniture needed to be replaced.
The Auxiliary is proud to donate 6 loveseats and 11 chairs to Patient Registration in the amount of $10,000, 1 loveseat and 9 chairs to the Radiology in the amount of $5,500, 1 loveseat and 5 chairs to the Rehab Services area which includes Physical Therapy and Cardiology Services in the amount of $3,500.
These departments are at the front of our medical center and probably seen the most. We are all very happy to help make our front end shine a little brighter when we are able to.
The furniture has been in place and being used since its arrival in January 2026. We have been receiving RAVE reviews. This is what we as an Auxiliary do!

The Claxton-Hepburn Medical Campus Lab does a new bulletin board each month. This is their new one for March. They are always incredibly creative and informative. Thank you for all your hard work and excellent patient care 🍀🫶💚

❤️ Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary's Bring A Bear to Show You Care Program is in its 20th year!!! This service project began in 2006 and is still going strong! The Auxiliary accepts donations of NEW bears and stuffed animals (it must be NEW only please).
If you'd be so kind to make a donation, please send them from Amazon Prime (this is a way to safely donate) to CHMC Auxiliary Bring A Bear To Show You Care 214 King St Ogdensburg, NY 13669. If you prefer shopping local, please drop off the NEW only bears/stuffed animals to the front desk of our hospital attention Ramona Kennedy.
Many also purchase them in our CHMC Auxiliary Gift Shop and tell the volunteer to please donate to the Auxiliary.
These donated bears/stuffed animals are given to our Pediatric patients when they come in for a procedure, hospital stay, etc. It truly brings a smile to the Child's face when someone walks in with a new cuddly friend for them to hold.

Our Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary Crafters are a group of dedicated volunteers who work year round making affordable one of a kind gifts. Net proceeds benefit the CHMC Auxiliary.
