It’s not too late for Ogdensburg City School District (OFA) graduating seniors entering a trade school program to apply for the Mark Morrow Memorial Scholarship.

Applications are available at the OFA Guidance Office and must be submitted by Friday, June 5, 2026.

Mark was a valued member of the Claxton-Hepburn Facilities team who was known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to growth. This scholarship honors his legacy by supporting an OFA senior pursuing a trade school education.

The American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, at our Claxton-Hepburn Medical Campus, and we need more donors to help fill the schedule!

Right now, we have only 17 donors signed up. Summer is often a difficult time for blood collection because vacations, travel, and busy routines can lead to fewer donations, but patients still need blood every day. There is still plenty of room available, and every appointment makes a difference.

❤️ Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Auxiliary's Bring A Bear to Show You Care Program is in its 20th year!!! This service project began in 2006 and is still going strong! The Auxiliary accepts donations of NEW bears and stuffed animals (it must be NEW only please).
If you'd be so kind to make a donation, please send them from Amazon Prime (this is a way to safely donate) to CHMC Auxiliary Bring A Bear To Show You Care 214 King St Ogdensburg, NY 13669. If you prefer shopping local, please drop off the NEW only bears/stuffed animals to the front desk of our hospital attention Ramona Kennedy.

These donated bears/stuffed animals are given to our Pediatric patients when they come in for a procedure, hospital stay, etc. It truly brings a smile to the Child's face when someone walks in with a new cuddly friend for them to hold.
