This is happening everywhere , with low pay being the primary driver. Gov agency just dont want to up pay to recruit new staff or retain current. When you have an agency paying several dollars lower than surrounding agencies with equal or lower call volume people leave.

PSA: WEATHER ALERT FOR TOMORROW NIGHT 03/15. Winds are predicted to reach 60 mph sustained and 80 mph gusts. Once wind speeds reach 40 mph or higher MACON CO EMS WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO CALLS until winds drop below 40 mph sustained. Winds higher than 40 sustained will turn an ambulance over.
