🌟 Spotlight on Paula Finnecy, Memory Care Unit Director 🌟

Paula Finnecy joined the Oil City team in July 2022 as an LPN and recently transitioned into her new role as Memory Care Coordinator. With over 20 years of nursing experience, Paula brings a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for enriching the lives of residents with dementia.

Paula was inspired to move into Memory Care after completing specialized training, including Dementia Capable Care, Mental Health First Aid, and CPI non-violent crisis intervention. Reflecting on her own family experiences caring for a loved one with dementia, she’s committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care that meets residents “where they are” and creates a calm, peaceful, and engaging environment.

In her role, Paula focuses on designing activities that bring joy, connection, and laughter to residents. She especially looks forward to Family Night, a new event she is planning and hopes to make a regular tradition, helping families connect with their loved ones and the community.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading, and baking. She wants families to know that the well-being of each resident is her top priority.

We’re so proud to have Paula leading our Memory Care Unit and making a difference every day!

Celebrating Sara Walton’s success! Sara worked hard during her short-term rehab stay at Oil City Nursing & Rehab and achieved her goal of returning home on her feet. We’re so proud of her determination and thankful for our incredible therapy and care team who supported her every step of the way.
