We had so much fun serving Root Beer Floats at July’s Open Barn that we’re doing it again in August! Please join us this Saturday, August 16 3pm - 5pm at Sage Ranch, 11250 T**a Vista Road, Santa Paula, for Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Floats, Horses, Raffles, meet the Staff and enjoy a demonstration of what we do. We hope to see you all Saturday!

🍂🐴 It’s that time of year again! We’re gearing up for our Fall Fundraiser with Reins of Hope, and we can’t wait to see everyone come together to celebrate, support, and share in the joy of the season. 🤠💛

We’re currently gathering details and reaching out to sponsors, and the excitement is building! This event is always a special time to reconnect, reflect on our shared mission, and have some good ol’ fun with our amazing community.

Yesterday was a day we’ll never forget. 💔🐴🔥

While transporting our beloved mini horse, Hope, to the Ventura County Family Justice’s Camp Hope fundraiser — where we were being honored — our ROH transport van unexpectedly caught fire on the road.

Thanks to the quick response and kindness of the Ventura County Fire Department, Ventura County Sheriff, and several motorcyclists and motorists who stopped to help, the fire was put out and Hope was safely cared for with water and comfort until backup transportation arrived. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stepped in to help. 💛

Despite the scare, both Hope and our team are safe, and we made it to the event to complete our mission — a powerful reminder of resilience, compassion, and why we do what we do.

Unfortunately, the van is a total loss, and we are now urgently searching for a replacement vehicle so we can continue bringing comfort and connection to our community through our minis. We have a temporary solution in place, but we’ll need support in finding a new long-term transport option.

🌟 Community Advocate of the Year: Reins of Hope 🌟

We are proud to honor Reins of Hope as our Community Advocate of the Year for their powerful work using equine therapy to support healing and resilience in our community.

Through their unique programs, Reins of Hope helps individuals—especially youth—process trauma, develop emotional balance, and build communication and problem-solving skills. Since 2023, they’ve partnered with us through a Ventura County Behavioral Health grant to provide transformative, six-week equine therapy sessions to 80 Camp HOPE youth.

Their compassionate approach is helping young survivors rediscover strength, confidence, and hope. 💛
