Reins of H.O.P.E. Reins of H.O.P.E. offers a unique cutting edge form of mental health services partnering with horses as an experiential form of learning. (Ojai, Ca)

Reins of HOPE is a non-profit organization that offers Equine assisted psychotherapy and learning sessions conducted on the ground. It is based on the relationship one develops with the horse within a 60 minute session. Our fundraiser events' mission is to raise enough money to provide free sessions to veterans, active military, and at-risk youth. We also provide individual, family, groups, businesses, and other organizations the equine psychotherapy sessions on a fee basis. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning is one of the most effective forms of experiential therapy. So far this year, Reins of HOPE has provided close to 700 equine assisted sessions. We cover Ventura County, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Santa Ynez, and Malibu.

Join us from 4–6 PM every 4th Wednesday of the month. Open to all veterans.

Come build community, connect with other vets, and take a moment to reset with the herd. There’s something powerful about good conversation, shared experience, and a little time outdoors.

Bring layers and prepare for the cold just in case — evenings have been dropping in temperature.
