Class IV Laser Therapy is used to alleviate pain, speed up healing, and reduce inflammation. When a light source is placed against the skin, photons pe*****te several centimeters down and are absorbed by the mitochondria (the energy-producing part of the cell).

Hammertoe occurs due to an imbalance of the muscles, ligaments, or tendons that are used to hold the toe straight. In some cases, the shoes you wear, trauma, your foot structure, or specific disease processes can lead to you developing a hammertoe.

A common symptom is noticing the abnormal bend in the joint of one of your toes, along with pain when trying to move the affected toe. Pain is not present in every case of hammertoe, but it is possible. Corn and callus formations on the affected toe are also common.

If you think you may have a hammertoe, schedule an appointment with us!
