Not all Halloween candy is a treat for your teeth!

Here are 3 tricky ones to watch out for and better swaps to keep those smiles happy:

1️⃣ Sticky caramels love to hide in hard-to-brush places.
➡️ Swap for soft chocolate squares that melt away quickly.

2️⃣ Hard candies hang around in your mouth (and can even chip a tooth!).
➡️ Swap for sugar-free lollipops or melt-in-your-mouth chocolate.

3️⃣ Sour gummies are sticky and acidic, which wears down enamel.
➡️ Swap for dark chocolate or even pretzels for a fun non-candy option.

🎃 Trick-or-treating is fun, but your teeth will thank you for picking the sweets that don’t stick around too long.
