UPDATE: Whoop Whoop we found a freezer!!!! Thank you to everyone who shared our request and THANK YOU to David Sznapstajler for the generous donation-there will be free and ICY COLD Sweet Tea for you at the next football game!!!

🥁🎶 We’re in a bit of a not-so-chilly situation… 🎶🥁

Our Band Booster concession stand (aka the band’s fundraising superhero 🦸‍♂️) is in desperate need of a freezer. Why? Because sweet tea is great… but not when it’s room temperature!😝🥤

We’re asking our amazing community:
👉 Do you have a new or gently used freezer looking for a loving home?
👉 Or would you like to donate toward one so we can keep our snacks frosty and our fundraising strong?

Your support helps us keep concessions running, which means more funds for instruments, uniforms, travel, and all the amazing opportunities our band students work so hard for.

Not every kid finishes the school year with awards, perfect grades, or college scholarships.

Some kids barely made it through.
Some pushed themselves just to pass.
Some kids won't go to college.
Some are heading straight to work.
Some didn’t get invited to prom.
Some have special needs.
Some just struggle. A lot.

And to those kids—I see you.
You did it.
You showed up.
You kept going.
That matters.

And to the people who walked beside them—
you are the quiet heroes.

The late-night pep talks,
the tears behind closed doors,
the endless encouragement…
it all counts.

Some kids have to fight
twice as hard for average grades.
That doesn’t make them less.
It makes them just as strong.

Not all victories are loud.
Not all strengths get medals.
But they still deserve to be celebrated.

Because the world needs more
than just honor roll students.
It needs the kids who are kind
when no one’s watching.
The ones who bring creativity to the everyday.
Those who offer a helping hand
even when their own hands are full.

So here’s to the kids who didn’t
get the spotlight but kept going anyway.

You’re incredible.
And we’re all proud of you.
