🇺🇸 Memorial Day Closure Notice 🇺🇸

The Okeene Medical Clinic, Hospital Business Office, and Outpatient Services will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.
Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26th.

As we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday weekend. ❤️🤍💙

Reminder: In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911.
Our Emergency Room remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This week, we celebrated Hospital Week the best way we know how… by celebrating the AMAZING people who make our hospital what it is every single day! ❤️

We had a week full of fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

🎉 Monday — “Dress Like a Coworker” Day
🎉 Tuesday — Bingo fun
🎉 Wednesday — A delicious cookout (huge thank you to John Poe for grilling for us!)
🎉 Thursday — Dirty Soda Bar
🎉 Friday — Scoops Ice Cream to finish the week off sweet

We also had several raffle winners throughout the week and everyone received a new Hospital Week shirt! 👕

At the end of the day, Hospital Week is about recognizing the incredible employees who show up every day to care for our patients and community. Without our staff, there wouldn’t be a hospital to celebrate.

Thank you to every single employee for your hard work, compassion, teamwork, and dedication. We appreciate all that you do more than words can say! ❤️🏥

Okeene Municipal Hospital is excited to launch our NEW Summer Volunteer Program!

We are looking for TWO caring, fun, and energetic volunteers to spend time with our patients through activities like:
🎲 Bingo
🃏 Card games
🧩 Puzzles
🐟 Feeding the fish
☀️ Outdoor time
💬 Conversation & companionship
…and so much more!

This opportunity is perfect for:
✔️ Students needing volunteer hours or school application experience
✔️ Anyone interested in healthcare
✔️ Retired individuals looking to give back
✔️ People who simply love helping others

Requirements:
▪️ Must be 16 years or older
▪️ Must be up to date on vaccines
▪️ Must complete HIPAA training and volunteer paperwork
▪️ Must apply IN PERSON at the hospital

⏰ Volunteer hours will vary weekly (approximately 5–10 hours per week depending on patient census and activities).

📅 Applications will be accepted through the end of May, and TWO volunteers will be selected!
