✨ 45 Years of Dedication ✨

This month, we are celebrating an incredible milestone—Jana has been a part of OMH for 45 years!

For 45 years, Jana has blessed this place with her unwavering love, compassion, positivity, and hard work. She has touched countless lives—patients, families, and coworkers alike. If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Jana or being cared for by her, you know she is truly one of a kind.

Her kindness, dedication, and heart for others are what make OMH so special. She is more than a nurse—she is a cornerstone of our hospital and a shining example of what it means to serve others.

We are beyond grateful and incredibly lucky to have had Jana here for 45 wonderful years. 💙

Please join us in celebrating her and showing appreciation for all she has given to our patients and community! 👏

Just a friendly reminder — if the unexpected happens, our ER at Okeene Municipal Hospital is open 24/7 and our team is trained and equipped to treat rattlesnake bites.

🐍 Rattlesnake Safety Tips 🐍

• Watch where you step and place your hands
• Wear boots and long pants when possible

🚨 If Bitten by a Rattlesnake: 🚨

• Stay calm and limit movement
• Call 911 or get to the ER immediately
• Keep the bite area at or below heart level
• Remove tight items (rings, bracelets, etc.)
• DO NOT cut the wound or try to suck out venom
• DO NOT apply ice or a tourniquet
