We are getting alot of calls about viewing the Eclipse next week SAFELY!
I do not trust the cheapo cardboard "Eclipse Viewing Glasses"
Viewing the Eclipse directly can cause irreparable damage to your Retina. You might not notice the effect immediately, kind of like when you notice the effect of sunburn hours after being at the beach. However the damage to your retina can cause loss of vision that you can not get back!
I did just read a good idea that would be safe for your eyes.
Set your smart camera phone on reverse, point the camera at the Eclipse while you only look down at the phone, you can even video the Eclipse to watch and share later.
This is safe for your eyes and I do not believe it can harm your smart phone camera; if it does damage my phone camera I can get a new phone - I CAN NOT GET NEW EYES!!
