Mark is a highly skilled physical therapist, licensed athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He specializes in orthopedics and functional movement and is known for designing exercises that focus directly on each patient’s specific needs. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family.
👨‍⚕️ Joshua Kingsley, PT, DPT
Josh grew up in Hillsdale County and is proud to serve the community he calls home. He has a gift for connecting with patients and helping them succeed in their recovery. He is also certified in LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s Disease. When he’s not in the clinic, Josh enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife and three children.
👩‍⚕️ Taryn Holt, LPTA
Taryn is a physical therapist assistant who brings positivity and encouragement to the clinic. She loves supporting patients through their recovery while sharing her own passion for an active lifestyle with her family. With her husband, daughter, and son, she enjoys camping, biking, running, hiking, and cheering on her daughter in hockey.
Together, the Jonesville team is known for creating a fun, supportive environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and motivated to achieve their goals.

✨ Success Story Spotlight ✨
When Jan came to ORS Holt, her only goal was simple but powerful: finish a 5K open-water swim — something she hadn’t been able to do for the past two years due to calf cramping.
With support and encouragement from her ORS physical therapist Elise, Jan trained, prepared, and believed in herself. And this time… she did it! 🏊‍♀️💪
Not only did Jan finish the race without any issues, but she crossed the line with a smile, proving that perseverance, preparation, and the right care make all the difference.

Her words say it best:
“I can’t thank you and everyone at ORS enough for all the help and encouragement!”

🌟 Student Spotlight: Billie Weeks, SPT 🌟
Last Friday, we said goodbye to Billie Weeks, a DPT student from Western Michigan University (Class of 2026), as she wrapped up her 10-week clinical rotation at our ORS Jonesville clinic.
Billie shared that her favorite part of the experience was “meeting the people that make up the communities around the clinic—the nicest patient population ever!” She also noted how ORS has shaped her perspective: “The empathy and compassion providers have for their patients is second to none. ORS showed me what selfless care truly looks like.”
Her biggest takeaway? “Culture means everything. A place that patients and employees enjoy coming to every day is so important for a healing environment.”

The Jonesville team added this heartfelt note:
“Billie has been a joy to work with the last 10 weeks. She engaged well with patients of all ages, always wanted to learn more, and went the extra mile to make each treatment specific to patients’ true goals. She has a great personality and will be a great PT. Billie, we hope you can always find shoes that fit in your pocket. We wish you the best and will miss you!”

Meet Michael Cox, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, ITPT — Co-Owner of ORS, Facility Manager of ORS West Lansing–Grand Ledge, and Regional Vice President of our Lansing region.
With over 10 years of experience at ORS, Mike is known for creating a fun, positive, and motivating environment where patients feel truly connected and supported. He combines excellent clinical skills with the latest research to help you recover faster, perform better, and achieve your goals.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University (BS in Biomedical Sciences) and the University of Michigan–Flint (DPT), Mike’s clinical interests include sports medicine, post-surgical care, blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy, and dry needling.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys life with his high school sweetheart (now wife) Ashley, their three boys, and their dogs. He’s also an avid golfer and fantasy football player. 🏌️‍♂️🏈

Meet David Arend, PT, DPT the facility Manager at our ORS Ann Arbor clinic!
Dave is known for truly listening to his patients, understanding their concerns, and creating a personalized physical therapy approach to help them reach their rehab goals. With a wealth of experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, he combines expertise with a genuine commitment to patient success.

A graduate of the University of Michigan (BA in Psychology) and the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (Doctor of Physical Therapy), Dave’s clinical interests include manual therapy, dry needling, vestibular therapy, TMD therapy, and sports medicine.

When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Dave enjoying time with his family in Washtenaw County or cheering on Michigan athletics. 〽️

🎓 Student Spotlight: Josh – ORS West Ave 🎓
This week we say goodbye to Josh, a DPT student from Western Michigan University, as he wraps up his clinical rotation at ORS West Ave.
From day one, Josh impressed everyone with his ability to build quick connections with patients and staff. His strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and welcoming personality created an environment where patients felt supported and motivated. As Brady shared, “Josh has been an outstanding clinical student… His combination of clinical understanding and interpersonal strengths make him an asset to any team. He will be missed by all at West Ave!”
When asked about his experience, Josh said his favorite part was simple: “The people! From my CIs and colleagues to the patients we helped, everyone made every day at ORS a blast.”
Josh also shared that his time at ORS gave him a new perspective: while he once leaned toward inpatient PT, he now sees how rewarding outpatient PT can be—and could see himself pursuing it in the future.
Perhaps the biggest lesson he’s taking with him? “The importance of the PT–patient relationship. Patients consistently spoke about how great their provider was and how much they improved—and you could see their appreciation in the smiles (and the sweet treats they brought in)!”
Thank you, Josh, for bringing your positivity, curiosity, and dedication to West Ave. Best of luck on your journey to becoming a physical therapist, you’ll be missed! 💙
