The holidays can be stressful, especially while caregiving. Prioritize your own well-being by setting aside moments for rest, healthy meals, and self-care. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Focus on what’s meaningful rather than overwhelming. Simplified traditions, like a small family dinner or watching a favorite holiday movie, can create joy without added stress.
It’s okay to feel a mix of emotions during the holidays. Allow yourself to grieve, reflect, or seek support if needed. Remember, it’s perfectly normal to experience joy and sadness simultaneously.
